WATER
Wastewater
Treatment
Action Environmental personnel are experts in the subject of wastewater treatment. Routine designs include municipal sewage, poultry wastewaters, dairy wastewater, metals finishing wastewaters, textile manufacturing wastewaters, vegetable canning process wastewaters, crude oil cracking process wastewater and other hydrocarbon manufacturing process wastewaters. Action Environmental personnel are also experienced in the installation of oil/water separators.
Treatability
Studies
Industries should not commit to remedial action of
wastewater treatment projects without some proven historical
record of success. This success may be found in a literature
search conducted by Action Environmental personnel or an
original treatability study determined appropriate for the
subject project. Whether the project is wastewater
treatment, Bioremediation or the latest developments in
Phyto-remediation, treatability studies save thousands of
dollars.
Stormwater
Permitting/treatment
Action Environmental personnel prepare stormwater prevention pollution plans (SWP3) and monitor stormwater from all industries classified as requiring stormwater analysis. This process is part of the national pollutant discharge elimination system (NPDES). Action Environmental personnel conduct monitoring, evaluate results, and make recommendations on reasonable methods of treatment, if necessary.
Groundwater
Treatment
It is important to accurately determine, pump and treat project life cycles. Too many projects are facing lengthy time frames of pump, pump, pump and treat, treat, treat. Contaminated groundwaters and leachates should be modeled for contaminate concentration degradation prior to initiating design or treatment systems. Further, barrier wall construction, coupled with additional source removal, can significantly reduce the presence of contaminants in groundwater over time.
