STORMWATER DISCHARGE PERMIT for Citisteel USA, Inc. Project Description: This project involved the preparation of National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit forms indicating the off-site discharge of stormwater with its analytical constituents identified. The property was divided into six major areas identified as industrial or non-industrialized areas. A survey of the industrialized areas was then conducted to determine whether stormwater migrating off-site could be considered common for all industrialized areas. Once this determination was made, Action Environmental took stormwater samples and reported samples typical for all areas subject to permit. The stormwater sample point location represented worst case for migration of sediments across the property. The samples were obtained during a storm event which met EPA criteria requirements.
